A small, family-run dairy producing genuine Parmigiano Reggiano in the traditional way. The caseificio is on the road towards Scipione, about 15 minutes from the Podere. You can buy Parmigiano at different ages directly from the producer — from fresh (12 months) to aged (24–36 months) — at prices well below retail. The shop also sells other local specialities: cured meats (coppa, salame, prosciutto), honey, jams and seasonal products. This is where I send guests who want to bring home authentic Parmigiano Reggiano. Ask to taste before you buy — they're always happy to let you try.
