The fact that Benedetta and her bees work just minutes from the Podere makes this an easy and genuinely happy recommendation. Berry Bee Farm was born in 2016 from a simple, beautiful idea: plant raspberries to feed the bees, then discover that bees and raspberries helped each other thrive, and let the dream grow from there. Today the farm runs around 200 hives and 4,000 plants — raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and redcurrants — with no chemicals whatsoever, because here the bees come first.
The products speak for themselves: cold-extracted millefiori honey (delicate, floral, authentic), whole honeycombs, jams, fruit juices, herbal infusions and dried products. Edible flowers and aromatic herbs round out a range that changes with the seasons.
