Trattoria Botteghino (Bacedasco)
Family trattoria since 1976 on the road to Vigoleno: house-produced charcuterie and wines, freshly made fried dough and handmade pasta.
A historic family trattoria on the road between Bacedasco and Vigoleno, open since 1976 and run by Pietro and his family. The Botteghino — dialect for "little shop" — was originally a simple osteria where locals stopped for bread, salame and a glass of red. Today it has evolved into an elegant but unpretentious restaurant, with a beautifully renovated interior decorated with paintings and warm colours, while keeping the spirit of a traditional Piacenza trattoria.
The cured meats and wines are still produced by the family: culatello, prosciutto crudo, coppa piacentina, salame and sopressata, accompanied by excellent torta fritta made fresh to order. The pasta is handmade: pisarei e fasö, tortelli d'erbette, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, anolini in brodo. Main courses include roast meats and traditional pork dishes. The wine list features local Colli Piacentini wines from their own production.
The dining room seats about 60 and has a clean, welcoming feel. Credit cards accepted. Free parking.
Indicative price: around €25–35 per person. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Reservation recommended.
