La Rondanina (Castelnuovo F.)

A family-run farm restaurant on the Strada Provinciale di Genova, less than two kilometres from the Podere. The building is a restored farmhouse surrounded by a large garden with a pond, farmyard animals (peacocks, geese, donkeys) and the vineyards of the La Caminà agricultural estate.

The restaurant operates with a fixed multi-course menu: antipasto with cured meats and fried dough, three first courses (typically anolini, risotto and fresh pasta of the day), a main course with side dish and dessert, water and house wine included. The cooking follows the Piacenza and Parma tradition, with ingredients largely from their own production. The wines — particularly the Gutturnio — are estate-produced.

The setting is refined, with vaulted brick dining rooms and smaller intimate areas. There is also outdoor seating for warmer months. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Private events and ceremonies can also be arranged.

Indicative price range: €25–35 per person for the full menu with wine. Reservation required.
