Pizzeria Locanda delle Rose (Cortina)

A simple pizzeria and inn in the hamlet of Cortina, on the first hills between Alseno and Castell'Arquato. Run by Mauro and Roberta, the Locanda delle Rose is an informal, family-friendly spot where the main draws are good pizza and straightforward local cooking at reasonable prices.

The pizzas are wood-fired with generous toppings. The kitchen also serves traditional dishes — cured meats with fried dough, anolini in brodo, cotoletta — using local and seasonal ingredients. The average cost for a full meal is around €20–30 per person.

The setting is quiet and surrounded by greenery, with an outdoor veranda that is particularly pleasant in summer. The venue is wheelchair accessible, accepts credit cards, and is equipped with highchairs for children. Dogs are welcome. Free parking available.

Closed on Mondays. Delivery and takeaway also available.
